"...Do ye now believe?

C. S. Lewis said "Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance.
The only thing it cannot be is moderately important."
We believe Christianity is true and of infinite importance because it is the only way we can obtain eternal life.
Jesus tells us: "Verily, verily I say unto thee, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God" John 3.3 and "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3.16.
You cannot save yourself and without God you face eternity in darkness but you do have a choice.
Experience has taught us there are no coincidences and if you have found us in your search for God and you believe that He has been speaking to you and know there is an emptiness in your heart or some heavy burden, weariness, illness or sorrow, know that it is Christ who is drawing you to Him: "No man can come to Me unless the Father who has sent Me draws him" John 6.44. He has this to say to you: "Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11.28. Consider coming to Jesus now.
It is sin that separates us from God and He desires a remorseful heart: "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise Psalm 51:17. Saint Paul tells us: "This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance: that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" and "if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He is the satisfaction for our sins." Admit your sins now and ask forgiveness John 8.11.
How do you ask Jesus? He tells us this: "He that believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he that believes not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him" John 3.38. and this: "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear My voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me" Revelation 3:20. So first believe on Him and now invite him into your heart: "Lord I believe" John 9:38. Here is a short prayer, you don't have to be exact but you must be sincere:
'JESUS come into my heart and fill me with your love. Thank you for sacrificing yourself on the cross for me.
Forgive me for I have made mistakes, straying from your ways
and following the devices of my own heart, offending against your holy laws.
O Lord, I receive you as my Savior.
Make clean my heart within me and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Show your mercy on me and grant me your salvation.
Help me to love and serve you all the days of my life. Amen..'
Now what must you do? You must be baptized and be in love, charity and fellowship in Christ's Church. Find a church that does not rely on gimmicks or entertainment or one that waters down the Gospel but find one that can teach you discipleship. Of course we hope you will join with us, but there are many orthodox churches and a place for you among God's chosen people. Get a bible and begin to read it daily. We recommend you start with the Gospel of John and the Psalms. You need to begin to pray. "And all things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive" Matthew 21:22. "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you" Matthew 7:7. When asked, Jesus taught his disciples this: Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom, and the power and the glory for ever. Amen" Matthew 6.9. Go share your faith with others.
'The LORD bless thee and keep thee; the LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; the LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.' Numbers 6.24
